Mahathir still longs to be PM, but whatever next course of action he takes will not have Anwar as a factor. The good news is, he is no longer bound by Anwar; and the bad news is, he may lose the support of PKR’s 38 MPs. Mahathir is going to take to bring down Muhyiddin include a no-confidence motion, or a statutory declaration to be handed to the King that will not include PKR’s 38 names.
Mahathir should change the political mind frame of the Malays and not put the blame on progressive thinking and pluralism. Because of deep-rooted institutional decay, our politicians have lost themselves. There is no way this country will ever go back to the right track again over the next one decade.
Our young leaders – male and female – are more than capable of leading our nation too. If they are appointed to positions within the shadow cabinet and turned loose against the tired, corrupt and morally bankrupt of the present political warlords and the whole bunch of fumbling cabinet ministers who now disgrace the front benches of parliament
