PUTRAJAYA : Some 71.9% of the adult population (aged 18 and above) in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya have received their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine as of yesterday (July 22).

“Through this injection rate, the overall target is to give at least one dose to all adults in the Klang Valley before or on August 1,” he said at the daily press conference on the national immunisation programme with Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba here today (July 23)
Khairy said that for the period between July 21 and 22, a total of 432,843 doses were administered in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and Putrajaya, 263,100 of which were for first dose injections.
Meanwhile, Khairy said the government will soon announce the list of vaccination centres in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and Putrajaya to be opened for walk-in vaccinations for those aged 18 and above and those who have not yet received appointments for vaccination.
