Venues allowed live audience with SOPs in place
THE arts industry can once again stage events, shows or live performances from March 10.
In his 5pm press conference today, Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said that live performances are allowed in states under the conditional movement control order (CMCO) at 50% audience capacity. States under the recovery movement control order (RMCO) are allowed audiences based on the premises’ size and with physical distancing.

He reminded operators to stick to the public health guidelines provided by the Government to ensure the safety of its patrons.
The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (KLPac) in a Facebook post said: “This announcement has been much anticipated and hard fought for by not only our entire team but many, many other arts organisations, artistes and arts workers… We are eternally grateful. We are relieved. ”
