The matter was decided at a PN Election Committee meeting in Putrajaya last night, says the party’s information chief.
Perikatan Nasional (PN) will be setting up election structures at the state level shortly with the display of PN’s image that embraces the principles of diversity and harmony.
PN Information chief Mohamed Azmin Ali said the matter was decided at a PN Election Committee meeting in Putrajaya last night.
“The meeting was held with the presence of all PN component party election directors from PAS, Bersatu, Star, SAPP and Gerakan.
“The meeting decided to strengthen cooperation through election mobilisation efforts to garner the support of the people,” he said in a posting on his Facebook site today.
The meeting was chaired by Azmin, who is also the International Trade and Industry minister.
On Feb 11, Selangor PN State Liaison Committee (BPN) announced forming its organisational structure to marshal support and gain the confidence of the people.
The state’s organisation structure involved Azmin (Bersatu) as chairperson as well as Ahmad Yunus Hairi (PAS) and Abdul Rashid Asari (Bersatu) as vice-chairperson apart from Zuraida Kamarudin (Bersatu) as election director.
